Windows Appeal
EIHS is currently trying hard to raise funds to replace windows at the Kulliyah. Decades of wear, tear and Welsh weather (wind and rain!) have left us with rotting frames, broken sash cords and cracked glass. Our poor students freeze in the winter as the old building is in desperate need of appropriate double-glazed windows that actually open and close when required !!
Highmead Mansion was built in the 18th Century, at a time it would seem when people were hardened to the cold! Our beautiful building is in real need of refurbishment and we would like to prioritise the installation of weather-tight windows.

As Muslims we are all obligated to consider our impact on the environment. At EIHS we are very aware that much of the heat we generate is being lost due to broken and ill-fitting windows. With properly designed modern fittings that are in keeping with the style of Highmead, we would not only save money, but also contribute less to the wasting of the earth,s resources.
On behalf of the students at EIHS, please give what you can to our WINDOWS APPEAL any amount, great or small, will be appreciated enormously. Inshallah we will reach our target this year.
We need to raise a total of £60,000 to make it possible. Please make cheques payable to: The European Institute of Human Sciences and forward to: P. Sinclair (Windows Appeal), EIHS, Highmead Foundation, Llanybydder, Ceredigion. SA40 9UL .
Thank you very much to all our supporters.
