In order for the Institute to maintain a peaceful and studious atmosphere, it is essential that the following rules and regulations be closely observed.

Serious breaches of Institute rules will result in disciplinary action. This could result in exclusion from exams, suspension and even expulsion. With this in mind, the Institute requires all prospective students to read the following documents carefully.

  • Situations Vacant

    EIHS (West Wales) has two full-time vacancies for the following teaching posts:

    1. A lecturer in Islamic Studies: The successful candidate will be required to teach through the media of Arabic and English and possess in-depth knowledge of Islamic topics in general; including Fiqh.
    2. A lecturer in Arabic Language: The successful candidate will be required to teach Arabic as a second/foreign language. Some students aim to reach a level that enables them to go on to Level 1 of our Islamic Studies course, whilst others wish to learn the language of the Holy Qu’ran for their personal study.

    Salaries for both positions are according to qualifications and experience. £17 – £20,000 p.a. (M.A.) £20 – £24,000 p.a. (PhD).
